Hey all, I got my latest toy last week - a new iMac with OS X Snow Leopard. This is my first real foray into the world of Mac, and it's taking a bit of getting used to, to say the least. LOL I've seen there are many different emulator choices out there, but a lot are dated. I was hoping to avoid downloading, trying, and discarding lots of abandonware and/or not really good software by coming to the experts first. What emulators are best for this platform? And I'm interested in them all, from Mame to Atari to Nintendo to Sega to even new stuff, if possible.
Word 2016 not saving. Problems using and printing with Excel 2016 for Mac I've recently installed Office for Mac 2016 on an iMac running El Capitan. With Office 2013 I had no problems printing or saving a spreadsheet.
Genesis Plus is a Sega Genesis/Megadrive emulator for Mac OS X. Genesis Plus features very accurate emulation of the original Sega Genesis, even to the point that some software which has problems on the real hardware exhibits the same behaviour under emulation. What do y'all recommend? Here is my list of recommendations for OSX--sorry for the Nintendo weight.
I avoid the ones from Richard Bannister because of how he hobbles the code to require a USB driver license. More power to him for figuring out how to monetize EMU porting, but its not my cup of tea. NES = FakeNES SNES = Snes9x GBA + GBC + GB = Visual Boy Advance Stella = AWESOME My emulator of choice is a software modded Wii, where I also roll with Sega Genesis, Turbo Graphix 16, Atari 7800, and Stella. Good to hear that you enjoy Stella on OSX. Granted, it's currently the only real alternative for OSX, but I hope that's not the only reason people enjoy using it. Thanks eobet I'd tried DosBox in the past but wasn't able to get one of my favorites to work. Just need to track down the manual as it's been so long since I played Warlords 2 Deluxe that I don't remember how. Convert quicken for mac 2015 and 2016 to quicken for windows.
